Studie: In echten Krisenfällen werden Zuschauer eher zu Helfern
Menschen in einer wirklich gefährlichen Situation können in vielen Fällen auf die Hilfe unbeteiligter Dritter zählen. Das haben Experimente deutscher Psychologen um Peter Fischer gezeigt. In früheren Studien hatten Forscher das Verhalten von Zuschauern in weniger brenzligen Situationen untersucht und dabei den so genannten Gaffer-Effekt beobachtet: Alle schauten zu, aber kaum einer mischte sich ein – vor allem dann nicht, wenn mehrere Zuschauer anwesend waren. Die deutschen Wissenschaftler konnten nun zeigen, dass in echten Gefahrensituationen eher mit der Hilfe eines Unbeteiligten gerechnet werden kann.

Im Notfall

Die große Mehrheit der Bevölkerung trägt keine Information bei sich, wen Helfer im Notfall kontaktieren können. Deshalb werden oft wichtige und unter Umständen lebensrettende Informationen nicht rechtzeitig eingeholt. Außerdem erfahren die nächsten Angehörigen nur sehr spät vom Notfall.
